The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly Speech

Let me preface this with the fact that Clint Eastwood has always been a hero of mine and will always be that hero and his speech at the repubelican convention does not change that in any way. It's funny how some people believe artists should just entertain us and keep their opinions to themselves. Like they are not people and are not allowed opinions of their own. Even worse, some idiots take it as far as to ban these people once their opinions clash. Grossest case of course being the Dixie Chicks and the fuck heads who showed their true natures when they expressed their very real criticism of a president that put our whole nation in danger. Clint Eastwood is a man who expresses a real critique of our current president and he deserves to be heard. While some of it was a little incoherent and some words seemed misplaced but he did make some good points. One being that politicians come around every few years and beg for votes, like mitty, and all politicians are our employees, which mitty needs to understand. This statement, more than any, is the one that gives me the right to ask for information like income tax returns for the past 5 years. Your courting my vote mitty, this is the job interview and your failing it badly. Back to Clint though, I'm sure he can care less about the critics and he certainly doesn't need someone like me to stand up for him. But when whinny bitches like janine turner decide to use this as a platform to express why other actors don't express their opinions it's just pathetic. This is how it works bitch. You express your opinion and I express my opinion of you having that opinion and vice versa. Your narrow minded notion that you should have your opinion and we should all stay quiet cause you're fucken thinned skinned means you need to just crawl into some hole and die. Mr Eastwood, you're still aces in my book. Keep being as brilliant as you are. On to rush limblard and how he thinks there is not enough outrage over Hurricane Issac. He thinks Obama is being given leeway when compared to bush and how how he handled Katrina. Where are the actors like Sean Penn and Kanye West? The media is hiding the extent of the tragedy which he thinks is larger than being reported. Well you fat ass idiot, let's take the fact that the levees which broke before have held this time It also seems clear to me that large numbers of people are not gathering at the Superdome. So how has limblard missed this? It's times like these you really need to untie that other half of your brain if you have any hope of someone mistaking you for an intelligent life form. This fuck face imbecile is trying to coin the phrase "watermelon liberal" and had the nerve to say it on the hate Obama all the time channel. Watermelon liberal? Romney, Bless His Fucken Little Heart

While many republicans are forced to accept mitty the half hearted candidate, I am force to watch a man who still offers very little substance as to what exactly his plan for America is. The name Obama comes out of his mouth so much I am lead to believe Obama rents a condo in that space between his ears rent free. It is weird that mitty seems to know more about what Obama's future will look like that detail his own plan. What I did hear I did not like. Sounds like he intends to re-spark the cold war with russia. I guess he wants to bring back the ronny reagan days...the bad parts. I see he outlines the future for our young Americans by offering them government jobs in out US military. This is what he means by strengthening our military. By cutting off education this is the only career path the mitty administration seems to offer. He will give more money to businesses which worked very well during the Bush years. He claims to respect women but his stance to take their choice away contradicts his patronizing words. I'm not sure what his comment about Obama quelling the rising waters was about but at a time when parts of our country are flooding it seems very inappropriate and in bad taste. Very disappointed. What was another opportunity to detail the real plan mitty has for this country he instead joins in on the convention's overall real theme which was Obama bashing. Instead of taking the high road mitty decides to throw his religion and standards (if he truly has any) out the window and slops in the mud like the rest of the speakers at this hate-in for Obama. But Clint Eastwood had the best line indeed. If a person isn't doing the job you have to let them go, and many can tell you, mitty as a nominee doesn't seem to cut it for many on the repubelican side. November will be the time to let him go. Bless mitty's fucken little heart, but he has no idea what to do with this country once he gets it. As a last word, I know mrs romney needed to patronize to the women since their true repubelican policies will end up hitting them hard in their professional and personal lives. But the false kinsmanship she tries to spark is sad ans blatantly false. As a single dad I can guarantee you I have changed more diapers and put in more time with my kids than she has with her own. I would place anything on that. Anyone who falls for this false sisterhood connection she tries to make is truly sad.

Liar Watch - First Call

SO as everyone else is currently on hurricane watch, we here at the e-vent blog are on liar watch and focusing on the ever popular rasmussen polls and how inaccurate that are due to the way they word questions and the selective way the choose their people to poll. Today they are hard lining 3 states they consider as the key states to look for that will ultimately decide the winner of the 2012 election. While many polls strain to be accurate I think rasmussen goes the other way to meet the polarizing agenda which is why they are a fox amuse favorite. So we will keep a close eye on this here and see if they are as off base as they where during the 2008 election in which they grossly miscalculated where insane mccain stood and gave fox amuse viewers false hope that was no where near where it should have been. On to the repubelican them which is 'We built it'. I think the Obama campaign should be in full media blitz mode and agreeing that this is what we were saying all along. We built it, We all built it. Every single one of us Americans built it. Not one lone asshole who claims they alone did it even though they took government funds to build it and had 3 generations and 100 or workers help him as well. The hate Obama all the time channel, fox amuse even brought around chris the baker who was too stupid to take a great opportunity because he worked hard to make his business and even takes the time to thank his wife who helped him. But wait, that sounds like you had help...Do you not understand what is meant by you had help to build your company and you didn't do it alone? Are you that much of an idiot to not make that distinction. No wonder you don't know a good opportunity when it's plopped in front of your face. Mark my words. It will come out that this guy also took government money and just forgot conveniently of course. Shocker...repubelican thinks he's right, dispite facts and popular opinion

The now famous todd akin from the now infamous "legitimate' rape comment has decided against his own party's wishes and has decided to stay in the race for congress. I for one commend him, don't be a quitter. you stay in and don't give up for no reason. You're on a mission from God dude. Plus, it is great so see they dragged out the palin bitch to chime in like her opinion carried any weight of any kind. I mean, what can she say..."quit like I did...look how great it turned out for me". This repube bimbo should stick to pimping her daughter out and stay out of politics for good, it's just now her bag. Back to todd akin though, this guy makes good points. He really has no reason to get out given that local polls still have him ahead in the race. This unfortunately is a sad testament to what I have mentioned here before, a majority of repubelicans share this awful opinion of women that will tell them what to do and force them to obey if it takes the force of the evil government forces they hate to use. Government intrusion is ok if it enforces their agenda, thus our current TSA situation. This is the hard-line view shared by all repubelicans and has recently even been voted as part of the republican platform just in time for their convention. It is a view shared by paul ryan and mitty has sided with his party, although it is always hard to tell what this man's current views are. I think an opportunity was lost when ryan brought around his mother. The press could have asked his mother what she thought of being forced to have a baby conceived through rape or incest. In fact, I suggest ryan leave dear old mom at home or I may come around and ask this question myself. It would be great to get her opinion on this key issue and how positions like this justify the belief that there is a clear war against women driven by the right. I know the mitty and ryan went out of their way to denounce these comments as quick as possible but it still remains a core belief for them and once in office, I know they will further agendas like pulling funds from planned parenthood and taking away a woman's right to choose what to do with their body. They are not sorry for this todd akin's comments but sorry that you found out about their positions on this before the election. To todd akin's second comment about how doctors had informed him about this sate of being a woman can enter in biologically. The one that I guess causes a woman's reproductive system to shut down...I want to know what doctors he has gotten this shit science from. Probably the same morons that complain about Obamacare and how it will ruin their practice. I got news, you being a god awful doctor has more to do with that than Obamacare ever will. I am in total agreement that these doctor should be allowed to continue their practices...with one caveat...that they only be allowed repubelican patience.

The latest being so blatantly out there that it could not be avoided. todd adkins being the douche ass fuck face who claims a woman has the means to shut down here reproductive system in the case of a 'real rape'? WHAT? Is this mother fucker for real? I would think this comment was so out of hand it would have caused his mother to publicly denounce him, and if she is dead for her to rise from the grave and denounce him. My real point here though is that as much as repubes have denounce the words of this class A asshole, they have brought the conversation to this point. This is where their party is in the conversation and for some reason repubes think these extreme views will fly with regular Americans like me, but now they find themselves so out of touch. It is too late to reign it in because we have seen the glimpse of it being out there. This is how far repubes thought the American people would follow them into the rabbit hole and they have been shocked and awed into finding out we are not there and will never get there. We are not the taliban, we are not religious zealots who beat or blame our women for getting raped. Don't let the repubes fool you my fellow Americans. This is what they want, to turn this into a land rules by their creator that will take women's rights away and have roving bands of religious zealots beating people who do not follow their overbearing scriptures.
